Here is a new idea in apitherapy from Laurel Hill – A soft cake of pure beeswax, propolis and olive oil to soothe damaged skin!
Our grandchildren call David “Pampie” and our handkakes the “Boo-Boo Eraser”.

We make our gentle cakes of pure beeswax, olive oil and propolis to soothe chapped, cracked and bleeding skin – just like ours in the winter dryness and summer garden work.

Take our cake out of the tin and gently rub it on lips, hands, elbows, knees, feet or any place skin cries our for HELP!! The olive oil softens, beeswax seals to lessen pain and propolis heals.

Three natural ingredients – nothing more! Unlike lotions, creams and salves our cakes are not greasy or oily. The soothing film will NOT WASH OFF easily. Ideal for anyone that washes hands frequently such as childcare providers and nurses.

If the result is too sticky to the feel, rub your hands gently under cool water to remove any unwanted “sticky”. Unlike lotions and creams -- It will NOT wash off easily!!!

ABOUT PROPOLIS: Often referred to as “bee glue”, it starts as the sap of various trees. Honeybees collect and process it much the same as nectar. The result is a substance that honeybees use to seal holes in the hive and stick down anything they don’t want to move.

Propolis is naturally antibiotic, antiseptic and antifungal. It is used widely in many parts of the world as a natural treatment. Many attribute the health of the beehive in winter to its presence. We use it in our kakes for these therapeutic reasons.

We hand pour and individually wrap each of our kakes. All are sold in individual tins.
